Ein Stück künstliche Haut (ca. 4 x 4 cm) ist mittig und liegend in die Oberseite eines Metallgehäuses eingelassen. Bei Berührung durch den Betrachter startet ein fühlbarer Pulsschlag und die Haut wird auf Körpertemperatur aufgeheizt.

Nach ca. 30 - 60 Sekunden wird der Puls unregelmässig und stoppt nach kurzer Zeit vollständig, währenddessen erkaltet die Haut merklich. Der Vorgang ist abhängig von verschiedenen Zufallsvariablen und beliebig oft wiederholbar.

A piece of artificial skin (about 40 x 40 mm) is centered and lying embedded in the top of a metal housing. In case of contact with the viewer starts a palpable pulse and the skin is heated to body temperature.

After about 30 - 60 seconds, the pulse is becoming irregular and stops completely after a short time during which the skin cooled down considerably. The process depends on several random variables and can be repeated.
