The monitor, placed behind the viewer of the
telescope, carries the same picture that an
undisturbed look through the telescope would
reveal. However, the monitor carries a digital
depiction of the image detail. When the telescope
is moved, the image visible on the monitor shows
a parallel, slighty delayed corresponding change.
